What do you think of this idea thing from Nissan with the X-trail

I’ve never seen a RHD Bmw Z8, and that one has cluster in the middle, cause you know, it’s only a tricky to drive 400hp rwd monster, you’ll be fine with looking in the middle as you time your shifts.

I own a Nissan Xtrail and it helps a lot having it in the middle because you can look over for 1 second and then look back instead of looking straight at the dashboard in front of you. People wouldn’t be able to afford the insurance on the car until they’ve owned at least 3 cars so they will be experienced enough right?

well if its a digital one, its angled towards you, it works. but only if its a digital one.

Mini and some toyotas also, i drive toyota yaris with intrument cluster in middle and it’s same as cluster in front of you. And maybe it’s even better because (in my case) steering wheel blocks the view because i am very tall. But of course standard clusters with actual hands are ftw

my toyota echo got it in the center too……. but inclined in my face direction. but still in center… I hate that…… that’s why I want another car. oh and the fact that it is a terminal phase rust cancer on wheels help alot too

That’s also a feature on the previous version of the Chevrolet spark… I can only find a purpose for that and is that your mother can yell at you when you’re driving “too fast”
