Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

every civic engine.
An 1.6L N/A engine with variable valve timing and lift electronic control, DOHC making 160HP in 1989 is not a bad engine. (B16A)
“He introduced this V24-71 Detroit Diesel “Big Mike” engine, a couple years back as the largest semi engine ever built. This beast of a semi engine is rated at over 3,000hp and uses 12 – 871 blowers and nitrous to get the job done.”
3,000hp for all this seems a tade bit small…Torque?
yeah i do find that to be really low just by looking at this build in the pic. who knows what that thing would throw down for torque
I’d daily it
Really not impressed by the 5.3L from GM, but I think most of that issue is the transmission and tune. Seems like it hates being over 2500 rpm. As for total garbage: the 1.8L 4-banger from Toyota. Definitely not “Moving Forward” with that one…
What about the Dodge V10 Magnum, 8.0L V10 and 300 HP….
1990 Cadillac Brougham had a 5.0 v8 producing 140hp
Volkswagen Up, Polo 3 cilinder engines
The ford 3.8 v6 found in my mustang. 150 hp for a 3.8 in the late 90s wasn’t too impressive, as much as I hate to admit it.
a 1978 Ford 460 Cubic inch 7.5L V8. 210 Horsepower, 357 torques.
Are you serious? 210 hp is already good for 1978!
Any American engine from the oil crisis era. HP suffered greatly due to emissions.
Gonna have to say Iron Duke. Had an ‘86 Fiero with one. Probably not in the best of condition. Slow as molasses and ate fuel at an alarming rate, even in that light shell.
