Which car makes you most sad because you'll probably never be able to afford it?

There comes a time in life (for me it’s 3-4 times a day) where you have an awful moment of realisation, that ‘the dream car’ is probably only ever going to be nothing more than a dream.

I love nothing more than a bit of ‘internet window shopping’ scrolling through the classified advert websites looking at cars I’d love to one day own. Every so often I stumble across something that makes me melt inside, something that triggers a desire of want so strong, that it’s almost uncomfortable.

This feeling is then usually followed up with a horrible sinking empty feeling. It’s that feeling backed up by the little voice in my head that says; "Realistically John, unless you win the lottery this isn’t ever going to happen, so tough luck, mate!" It’s horrible, it’s saddening and yet every day I put myself through the same dilemma.

For me, the 1995 Porsche 911 993 RS is exactly that. The one I’ve included as a screenshot above is a car that triggered that exact same horrible feeling just now.

I mean will you just look at it. It’s perfect, the colour is perfect, the wheels are perfect, the interior is perfect too, but yet it’s £225,000. Yep, two hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds. That’s more than $346,000(USD) or € 313,000(euros) a figure of money I’ll almost definitely never have to spend on a car. So I’m curious to know, which car does this for you?…

What car are you most struggling to come to terms with the fact you’ll probably never ever be able to afford?

Just in case you would like to see a little more of the car, it can be found by clicking here.

Ford built a mid engined mustang concept in the 60’s and it’s a car I’ve always wanted to own. Sadly it’s probably in a museum or destroyed by now and if it isn’t their is no way I would be able to afford a car that rare. But a few people are making custom mid engine mustangs so that’s a plus:)

For me it’s gotta be an Aston Martin DB7 Vanquish. Those lines are perfect and you get the bonus of feeling like James Bond

I know how you feel John. My dream car is a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS 454 LS7.

In normal words: 456 HP from the factory with a 4-speed manual.

Prices from 40,000$-80,000$. Not yet mentioning maintanance and import costs…
