Which car makes you most sad because you'll probably never be able to afford it?

There comes a time in life (for me it’s 3-4 times a day) where you have an awful moment of realisation, that ‘the dream car’ is probably only ever going to be nothing more than a dream.

I love nothing more than a bit of ‘internet window shopping’ scrolling through the classified advert websites looking at cars I’d love to one day own. Every so often I stumble across something that makes me melt inside, something that triggers a desire of want so strong, that it’s almost uncomfortable.

This feeling is then usually followed up with a horrible sinking empty feeling. It’s that feeling backed up by the little voice in my head that says; "Realistically John, unless you win the lottery this isn’t ever going to happen, so tough luck, mate!" It’s horrible, it’s saddening and yet every day I put myself through the same dilemma.

For me, the 1995 Porsche 911 993 RS is exactly that. The one I’ve included as a screenshot above is a car that triggered that exact same horrible feeling just now.

I mean will you just look at it. It’s perfect, the colour is perfect, the wheels are perfect, the interior is perfect too, but yet it’s £225,000. Yep, two hundred and twenty-five thousand pounds. That’s more than $346,000(USD) or € 313,000(euros) a figure of money I’ll almost definitely never have to spend on a car. So I’m curious to know, which car does this for you?…

What car are you most struggling to come to terms with the fact you’ll probably never ever be able to afford?

Just in case you would like to see a little more of the car, it can be found by clicking here.

For me - it’s the GT-R (regular or Nismo)…

I think the GT-R will be affordable in about 10 years time. I think you’ll be able to pick up a decent one for less than £10,000. Plus today’s cars are bulletproof - you won’t have to think about rust.

i’m very happy to have a dream car that is very accesible. It’s not the situation like many people that realised they will never buy a lambo or so and started dreaming about something cheap, not at all. I had a big banner of this car when i was a kid and everytime i see one in real life i have chills, i get excited like a little girl on a Justin Bieber concert and i just can’t stop looking at it, even when it’s bone stock! And believe me or not, this car is a Nissan RPS13!

My ultimate unaffordable car is the Audi RS6(C6), one of the most powerful familycarriers of all time. Not a single day of my life goes by without picturing myself in one of those. And if by some miracle that I will one day have one, then I need nothing more out of my life..

ps.
I’ll take it in metallic blue pls.
