California might not be a country but it has stringent rules that can ruin your mod plans

Hong Kong. You can’t even modify your engine or your car will be impounded. But the police is quite stupid that they don’t know your engine is modified.

Malaysia?

1) because we couldn’t get any fun to drive yet affordable Manual. the cheapest Manual tranny you can get is from Proton/Perodua. google it to know more.

2) we have road tax which is base on the capacity of the engine i.e. 1800cc, or in other terms is 1.8L. anything below 2000cc or 2.0L is affordable but after that is relatively expensive. there are two tier of it as you can see.

3) our road is relatively sh*tty. pothholes and sometimes burst tyres in the middle of the highway that could easily cause casualties.

but i am grateful i am a Malaysian

Belgium
Diesels older than 5 years aren’t allowed in cities.
Minimum price of road taxes are 300€ and i’m talking about 60 hp engines (thats what its being calculated on)
Insurance bigger than a 1.4l engine costs 700€ yearly.
2l engines are around the price of 1500€ for insurance a year.
And we have something we call a “first inscription” thats when you own a car and insure it for the first time you pay its first registration to your name. Wich is around 300-1000€ (depending on wich province, the flemish region are the most expensive ones)

So in total you pay 1400€ minimum for everything, and you aren’t free of driving anywhere…

Switzerland is also pretty bad if you’re a young, male driver, with a more powerful car. Insurance can cost a fortune.
Tickets are also very expensive.
But on the other side, we get some of the best driving roads in the world. (Lots of mountain passes)

I dont know about other places but Washington State, USA is great, roads are good quality and lots of scenic roads everywhere. The state doesnt care about mods at all, I even had a BMW with out a catalyst and I passed emissions! And prices on new and used cars are fair compared to other parts of the world.

My home state!!! yeah they dont really give 2 sh*ts when t comes to that. I passed emissions with a exhaust pipe so rusted I’d have to drive with the windows down to not kill myself lol. Plus there are incredibly beautiful drives when its sunny.
