I realised I uploaded only a few pictures of the build of my peugeot and i still wanted to share it in more detail. I bought the car as a car to fool around with in the backyard, because it wouldn’t pass APK (MOT) anymore, it had play in the wishbone, rusted sills and many more faults i can’t remember. Otherwise it would have gone to the scrapyard.

Before we begin, I’d like to point out that I’ll be heading back to college for the next few months so posting these “My thoughts on” pieces are really going to become more of a challenge to pull off every week. I’m not going to give up on my channel, but I might need more time for school and because of this, my reviews may be coming a bit late. Just bear with me, and we’ll see what happens.

Finally, after 3 long and agonizing months I had just finished my last exam, when I got back home again I was chilling out to the sound of zero stress and ‘I’m Free’ by The Who, I had torn out my revision mind maps and burnt every school book to a refreshing and delightful crisp! Lovely.

There was once a time when the car community was a peaceful place, where everyone can laugh and make jokes without problems. But there was also a time when a disease struck the car community like a soldier getting killed in the midst of war. And that disease were fanboys, one of the many blemishes in the Internet Car Community. I am Dr .240Z, a PHD of Severe Internet R*tardation, and an expert in the Cancer of the car community.

6 piston front Brembo's, 4 piston rear. The Dodge Charger Hellcat came to life in 2015 as gas finally dipped below 3 Dollars a gallon in much of America. With the underpinnings of both the Challenger and Charger dating from early 2000’s Mercedes Benz, what they lack in modernity is made up by their hellish engines.

In Australia, when someone says the word Ute this is what most people think of, Toyota’s legendary Landcruiser fleet. These vehicles are most known throughout the country for their reliability, especially when going up against The Outback.

Before we start talking about the game that revolutionized racing games with “Powered-up racing”, let’s go back all the way to 2010. I was an 8th grader at the time, and schools nearing to an end. I decided to find a game to play to help pass the time during the summer. So, I decided to pre-order the one game I thought was best. Mod nation Racers. The PSP version…

The 3rd generation MR2 debuted in 1997, becoming perhaps the least interesting generation visibly. This gen. is notable for the lack of t-tops or a sunroof in the U.S. as just the ‘Spyder’ convertible was offered. A 5 speed manual in the US, 6 speed manual in Europe, and 5 speed sequential manual transmission were offered. Engine output is rated at 138 hp @ 6400 rpm and 125 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm. Combined with a base price of 25k USD, this seemed like an enthusiasts car on paper, and if you can get past the odd looks and the stigma associated with the low output, it delivers.

The beginning of August marked the start of a lengthy and tiresome insurance process, whereby my trusty and much-loved BMW 1er Coupé was written off. Oops. I was coming into the market for a replacement vehicle anyway, so to me the difference between the words “written-off” and “sold”, was minimal (bar the £400 excess). With my insurance premium ascending up into the realms of the gods, I decided to scrap the idea of getting a new M235i and began to browse for something equally as exciting but slightly more sensible. Arise John Cooper.

I know you have looked at the title thinking ‘what are you going on about?’ But hear me out… Just for a moment consider where Jaguar have come from in recent years. It was only 10 years ago the X and S-Type were just not up to the job (no surprise) Ford, the owners were riddled in a financial crisis and decided to sell Jaguar, and empty their bank account on the way out. Then along came TATA money and the XF! The XF had to sell otherwise it could be curtains. Thankfully it did and Jaguar is still very much with us today, frankly making a comeback like that of Lazarus.

The whole car world seems to be absolutely fascinated with the new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 package. While it’s looks are certainly polarizing (as they always have been for the past few Camaro generations), there’s one thing nearly everybody agrees on: It’s badass. However, nothing has taken the internet more by storm than the fact the new ZL1 can hit 60 FREEDOMS per hour in 1st gear (with the 6-speed manual). There were many articles about it over various car news sites (including this one), and surprisingly it also created a massive debate.

Like Chief Keef said, sorry for the wait. In the month since i’ve last posted, i went on vacation and as of today i’m attending college at my local Penn State branch. For a school based in a rural area, the cars these kids drive to school is just amazing. The 2004 GTO that inspired this post, a Nissan GTR, Challenger Hellcat, a 6 speed 740 volvo turbo wagon… I’m in love. But back to the GTO.

One of the few complaints you could legitimately lay at the MX-5 feet (well, wheels) at launch, was it’s slightly dull interior. That the car’s cabin wasn’t really a patch on European rivals shouldn’t really be that surprising, as the MX-5, and the NA in particular, dates from a time when Japanese car manufacturers had yet to really get to grips with plush fixings and well styled interior fixtures.

A few months ago, I wrote up an article showcasing my journey that concluded with my purchase of a 2012 BMW E92 M3 from CarMax. In that article I referenced the desire to purchase the M3 from CarMax due to their apparently great warranties. Little did I know that purchasing the additional CarMax M3 warranty would be one of my best automotive decisions………………of my life.

Hello Car Throttle, nice to meet all of you. I’m a new guy here. I live in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, and I would like to tell you how hard it is to own and drive a car around here. I hope it is not boring for you though. I wrote this post honestly, but I hope it is not quite offensive if there is an Indonesian Car Throttle member who reading this.

The first Type R was unveiled in 1997. It had an 1,6 litre inline four cylinder N/A engine with 185 hp, but that was pretty powerful for a weight only slightly above 1000 kilos. It had a self-supporting rigid body, came with recaro seats, a MOMO steering wheel, a shift knob made out of titan and of course it had VTEC. The power was transmitted with a 5 speed manual and the sprint from 0-62 mph was made in 6,8 seconds. One great thing about this car and the whole Type R era is that the engine made 116 hp/ litre ! Howsoever, the car was built from 1997- 2000.

If you live in England like I do, then you’re probably sick of seeing the Lexus IS 200; they’re mostly stock, and they’re bloody everywhere! But luckily for me, once every few weeks I get to lay my eyes on one that isn’t so stock, nor is it “everywhere”. I wasn’t sure what my first Car Throttle post should be, so I thought that I might as well write you an entire essay about my dad’s daily driver, his TTE Lexus IS 200.

Before we begin, let’s take a journey back a good week to see how this review suddenly came about. Last week, I had published my review on Tokyo Drift, and ever since that upload, I had received up to 10 new followers, and a lot of up votes and positive comments from other CTzens. I then realized that through this app, I am able to express myself and what I believe in through reviews. I am able to really let loose and go out and be myself, regardless of what the topic is, or what my true opinion is. This app really can listen to you and give positive feedback when you open yourself to it.

The BMW E46 Compact is a small BMW, based on the E46 3-series. It’s predecessor, the E36 Compact was a pretty big success as it was also sold in the USA. This new one though, was supposed to be more refined and comfortable compared to the old one. The car was only produced for 4 years from 2000-2004, when it was replaced by the 1-series. It never really caught on, and has been the laughing stock for BMW-fans for years.
