Let’s get this out of the way. The Corvette Z06 is a fantastic sports car. It’s put America properly on the map as a place that can build a high end sports car and dominate that space. It’s a car that is embarrassing it’s competition in higher price brackets by managing to put supercar performance into the hands of people that could otherwise not afford it. It’s a truly wonderful car. But it’s not a supercar. Chevrolet are very eager to tell you it is though, and on their website website you’ll find this little gem:

In the car world, the word “tuner” is not commonly used to describe “American” cars. The typical car nut would instantly think of a Supra with a man hole sized turbo, or an incredibly burbly 2-stepping STi. When someone talks about an American car, it’s assumed to be something heavy with a massive and torquey v8, that does burnouts. There are multiple origins for this idea, (one being The Fast and the Furious), but that’s another topic altogether. It’s very rare for American cars to follow this tuner car formula, and here I’ve taken my four favorite four banger American tuner cars.

We all have alot of opinions about cars we sometimes express here on CT and sometimes not. This right here will be my opinion on what i consider the ultimate supercar although it’s supported by some interesting and awesome facts. The car in question is the first generation Lamborghini Murcielago (2002-2003/4). The reason this car is number one among supercars for me? Lets see… First things first. The car is powered by a 6.2L V12 N/A engine producing 580 BHP and sending all those horses to all four wheels thru a 6-speed manual (gated) shifter.

My first introduction to Ben Collins outside of being the man in the white suit was in his first book … The Man in the White Suit. It was a great collection of stories from his time in racing, training with special forces soldiers and becoming the tame racing driver. Some say it was a great book. Some say that he has written another one too.

I’ve owned this thing for a bit more than a year and it’s gone from bone stock to its light modded current form. Bought it with 259.000km’s on the odometer mid april 2015. As of now, end July 2016, It’s at 301.500. I literally drove it around for 10 days before modding started with the lowering springs. List of mods in chronological order:

Alright, alright, calm down don’t rush to the comments saying “wat u talk about my 2000 hp GT-R beets all”, Because while that might be true to an extent, this will just be a little #blogpost about how horsepower vs the car platform/engine itself are both just as important. I learned about this when I first got the game, I’m still yet to get any engine swaps so I can’t cover that, but I possibly will another time. So we’re leaving engine swaps out of the equation and talking about stock engines.

Hi everyone! This is a new series where I, Adhitya, will take a look at the cars that used to be expensive when new, but now are very cheap to find. Without any further dues, let’s get started! Right, on this premiere episode, I am going to round up the 5 greatest luxury cars (a.k.a The Big Baws’s Ride) for $10,000 or under…

The description from “Gran Turismo” While many knowledgeable car enthusiasts are quick to lump Ruf Automobile into the “tuner” category, the truth is that the Porsche based machines developed by master automotive craftsman Alois Ruf in his native Deutschland are certified as coming from a full bore automobile manufacturer.

It’s 1972 and vehicle emission laws are getting tighter and tighter every year, manufacturers can’t make powerful cars anymore. The dark ages are coming, and muscle cars are taking a huge hit. Sales dropping, fuel prices rising and cars are becoming less and less convenient. What will America do? What will happen to the pony car scene that was only becoming better and better?

EcuTek have become an established leader in the field of ECU tuning, carving out an enviable reputation for being able to extract significant performance gains from an extraordinary variety of machines, and all utilising the OEM ECU. EcuTek’s latest ProECU tuning suite is a powerful tool for those tuners seeking to improve upon the factory performance of the recently launched Mazda MX-5 ND, the fourth generation of this staggeringly popular roadster.

I was recently given the opportunity to have a look around the workshop of Classic Team Lotus - the company responsible for restoring, maintaining and racing a growing network of historic Lotus race cars. The whole setup is run by Clive Chapman, Colin’s son - making this as much a family enterprise as the original team was.

Introduction Hello CTzens! How are you all doing? I’m pretty good myself. After my article about the Aston Martin Zagato I started to think: what actually makes this beautiful car so goddamn sexy? I think I might have come up with a few answers after doing my research on many, many sexy cars. So without further ado: let’s get right into it!

Today is a sad day. Chassis #107 Koenigsegg One:1 (Carbon Edition) has unfortunately crashed at the Nürburgring today whilst trying to set a lap record. The $3.8 million dollar mega-car, one of only eight ever made, was trying to beat the previous record of a seemingly impossible 6:57.00 set by a Porsche 918 Spyder back in 2013, when the day became a lot more expensive for Koenigsegg Automotive AB than they originally planned…

I know Fastlane Blocker already did an article on why it shouldn’t, but I feel its only fair to have an article explaining why an e30 is the obvious choice. It is worth mentioning that I’m from the US and my facts, findings, and experiences are based from US car culture and the cars that BMW brought to the US.

The E46 has pretty much bottomed out price wise right now in the U.S so people of all ages are picking them up. The M3 version is rising though because a lot of people my age now have decent disposable income and mid life crisis.
