We all have these lesser known car channels that we watch on YouTube but that just simply haven’t been found by many other petrol heads. In this blogpost I will tell you 5 that I watch religiously and that I recommend you to give a look at. (Feel free to make your own)

Our garage - Bertha and Monica! We bought the car on December 2015 to an old man in our village (in France). He is now 80 so he couldn’t drive it anymore and was deeply saddened about that. He was truly passionate about Ferraris and had owned multiple models during his life. On December 2015, the owner offered my father to sell him the car so we went directly to see it without knowing which model it was.

Have I gotten your attention? Did the title of this article confuse you? Well good, and get ready for more confusion! To try to explain this beautiful forgotten wonder, we’ve got to go way back to 1967. While American motor companies were having a war over who could stuff the most cubic inches in the front of a car, the Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company was establishing the Hyundai Motor Company. The first Hyundai ever sold was the Hyundai Cortina, a rebadged Ford sold as a Hyundai in South Korea.

In car ECM Diagnostics/ECM Reset procedure: 1) Sit in the driver’s seat. 2) Turn the ignition key to the ON position and wait three seconds. (Do not start the car.) 3) Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal five times in less than five seconds. 4) Wait exactly seven seconds. Fully depress the accelerator pedal for ten seconds (15 on GT-R) or until the MIL (SES) light flashes. 5) Release the accelerator pedal and start counting flashes to obtain the four-digit trouble code.

The AMG sub-division of Mercedes Benz procures some of the craziest luxury performance cars in the automotive world. From the E30 M3 rivaling 190e 2.5 - Coswotrth to the completely bonkers C63 507 to the twin turbo V8 GT-S, AMG proves how well it can deliver luxury and performance in a road going car. While some of its cars could be considered “sane” compared to cars like the scarcely produced ‘99 CLK GTR and the 622hp SLS Black Series, cars such as the modern S63/S65 and G63/G65 still remain a large part of AMG.

These are the cars that when you see coming in rear view mirror, you feel like giving them way. For me i feel like these are the most humble looking cars in there segments, but then again its just me. Hatch back class, Dacia Sendero Well with all vw golfs, merc A class and bmw 1 series. Giving the impression that the driver sitting in them would cut you in half if you didn’t gave way, Sandero coming from behind even eagerly will not throw you in road rage and you will just let him pass by.

On my quest to build the ultimate Crown Victoria, I’ve been eyeing the current (stock) transmission with sadness. It is fantastic for a luxury sedan (quiet, smooth, and decent MPG) but it really lacks the drama, fun, and driver involvement I envision it having someday. I’m actually considering changing the transmission (in a few years) to a special kind of manual transmission you may not have heard of until now: a Lenco transmission.

So I loved cars since like I was 2. Back than my father still had a Renault Clio I 1.4 RT but we were buying a new car. We bought a Megane I 1.6 16v RT Alize. Fast forward about 5 years and in front of our house is Renault Megane II 1.6 16V Dynamique Lux. But in 2008 we bought something bigger, Renault Laguna III 2.0 dCi Dynamique Lux. So now it is 2016 and as we speak, in the garage, waiting for us is still same old Laguna. As you can see, we never had any car that long as this Laguna, so it’s time for new car.

These are 6 recent cars that I think have potential to become desirable cars in 20-30 years time. Wether it’s their looks, their oddness or the performance. No supercars on the list, I only look at common cars. Cars that could be within budget for our children.

Alright, don’t get me wrong, I’m not an F1 hater, or anything of the sort, but I made the switch back in 2007 from F1 to NASCAR, and honestly, I couldn’t see myself watching another GP anytime soon… Or so I thought, but the Australian GP actually had me sitting there enjoying the race! So that got me thinking, if I can give F1 another chance, and rightly so; surely F1 Fans can try watching a NASCAR race in full. Who knows, some of you may enjoy it, some of you may become fans.

In 1934, Adolf Hitler commissioned Ferdinand Porsche to build a car for him. This car would be the car for the German people. Pity then that nobody actually took delivery of one while he was in power. Hitler was inspired by a concept designed by a Jew called Josef Ganz. Amazingly, he didn’t get any credit for the design.

1. Tec Art’s - Tsuchiya Keiichi’s AE86 Based in the Saitama Prefecture, Tec Art’s is one of the most respected AE86 tuners out there, in no small part, thanks to their endorsement from Tsuchiya Keiichi who, after the passing of TRD Legend Sakurai-san in 2008, gave Tec Art’s the job of tuning his Hachi-Roku Touge Monster.

The car has been in our family since it rolled out from the factory (and got imported from Germany to Sweden). Got it from my father (Mercedes enthusiast). Cons: -Slow Pros: -everything else Very, very comfortable and practical. Fits 7 people with the 2 extra seats in the trunk. Or 2 people and a regular bed. Or even a small boat. Very reliable, nothing has ever broken in the past 22 years.

Nissan is a company that has been known in the past as one of the best manufacturers when it came to enthusiast vehicles, driving innovation to the horizon of what’s possible and beyond. Look at all the Z cars, the old Skyline’s, the 510’s, etc. Nowadays it seems that the manufacturer simply cannot keep up with it’s legacy.

Morgan Plus 8 by Vilner. More special than the original Quilted leather. The Brits love this type of leather. A term not related to the origin of the rough material or the tanning process, but to the characteristic stitching pattern witch can vary in shape. The most popular one is the rhombus theme. It is widely spread throughout Bentley’s model range, but in this case it is not “Handmade in the UK”. It is laid and stitched by the hands of artists from Vilner’s team in Bulgaria.

07-08-2011: Complaint of badly fitted nearside doors and DAB radio not staying on station. 29-1-2012: Complaint that stop/start function not working on 1.6 Ecoboost that regularly does 300 mile runs. 17-3-2012: One complaint of a sticking clutch pedal on a 10,000 mile 2011 1.6TDCI. At first thought to be due to a faulty return spring, but persisted so probably due to a lazy clutch slave cylinder. 4-7-2012: Complaint of synchromesh failure on 5th gear of 6,000 mile 1.6 Ecoboost. At the time the parts to fix it were “on back order”.

Some common issues to watch out for with the MK2 Focus: Ford Focus fuel pipe leak (2004-2011 cars) Cars built between July 2004 and February 2005 could have had problems with their fuel return pipes leaking. The pipes were made from material that degraded over time, allowing fuel to seep out.

Like it or not Crossovers are more popular than ever, in fact SUV is the fastest growing car segment right now. So no surprise every major car manufacturer wants to get a piece of it. Now here is where I want to make my point, since SUVs are so popular car makers invest more money on these than they do in other segments and what we get is a market crowd of boring crossovers.
