It was really crazy for me to drive during of the biggest snow storm New Jersey to Virginia. I own a Nissan Murano and I decided to make a road trip when the storm already started in Virginia and I have get caught on the half way thru Virginia. I had no idea If would survive but I was really having fun driving on that conditions eventhough I barely see the roads. By the time I arrived Virginia all of the streets covered by snow and It was some serious weather condition Since there were no other cars outthere on the roads I took little more advantage of that and did some snow drifting around :) And my car really suprised me , how It handled all of those without gettin stuck anywhere.

This winter was crazy man. I live in an area that gets kinda cold, but not cold enough that northerners would feel the need to wear anything more than a light jacket. Normal winters get down to high 30’s at the lowest. This winter was crazy though. While some are experiencing heavy snow fall, I had to deal with a few 80+ degree days. I swear man, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. Sh*t was crazy!

Back when I had my cavalier, I went out driving in the snow and having fun since school got cancelled. I was coming down a long gentle hill and slowly applied the brakes and the car acted like I pulled the handbrake. The back end started coming around and I tried to correct it. That’s when I noticed I was headed straight for a state snowplow truck coming the other way. I knew I had to get back in a straight line immediately so I pulled the handbrake and turned the wheels full lock the other way and spun it around. I regained control going in a straight line, but now I’m going backwards. My mind slipped for a second and I thought “I wonder that that Subaru Forrester behind me is thinking right now? Hmmm.”
Then I snapped back to it and had to take the upcoming turn. I threw it into reverse, revved it up, popped the clutch, and pulled a reverse 270 onto the side street. I preceded to drive home at 15mph because holy sh#t, I almost died.
I spent the rest of the day playing Gran Turismo 5 in the safety of my living room.

A couple years ago I was handbrake drifting my teggy at like 4am and managed to get it stuck in snow higher than my front bumper, half a mile away from my house, no one around to help and no one awake to call, so i had to push it out myself. It took nearly 30 mins with some help from the shovel i had in my back seat. If I didn’t have winter tires I would’ve been screwed.

Was driving to work at 03:00 AM, came onto a sideroad that was not salted nor proper plowed. Basically ended up driving on black ice that was lying under the snow and my car just slid off the road, going down a steep hill, through a fence (70m of fence went down) and killing two small christmass trees. My car though…only a few small scratches on the front bumper,on the other hand the fence ended up costing me 2400£….

I was driving over a mountain in Norway. Trying to beat my personal record of time. If following the speed limit, you should use around one hour. I was doing 140km/h average and a top speed of 195km/h, used just under 10 min.
While at a speed of 150(approx) my front wheels started slipping and up aged was a corner. I stepped on the brake, only to start skidding. Had the biggest adrenaline rush. As I was on a path out of the road, there was some snow on the shoulder, so I just got enough grip to steer the car back on the road.
I almost shat myself I was so scared.

Thats why you never should speed on icy roads.
