They forgot the Vauxhall Corsa. In the UK, if you are seen in one of these, you are instantly thought to be an idiot chav. Do not buy one of these. Unless you are a chavvy person, then go for it.

Apparently never seen a car done well in matte black.
Most cheapo cars like old Civics that are matte black you can tell from a mile down the road its a DIY paint job with horrible layering and texturing. So many cars can rock matte black well, especially if done right.
People who wrap their R8, mostly very early, high mileage V8 models, in matte black, usually want to pretend they drive a much faster car.
