The Aston Martin DB11 Has Been Partially Revealed Thanks To This Potato-Spec Pic
Didn’t want to wait until 1 March to see the new Aston Martin DB11? Good news: following the rear three-quarter spy shot that surfaced on the Internet recently, someone’s managed to snap the front of the car. Only trouble is, the picture is ruddy awful. Low-res? Check. Out of focus? Check. Photographer apparently falling over mid shot? Check.
Still, despite all that, the rubbish picture does give us a good look at the new Aston’s face. It’s not a radical departure from the old DB9, although it is a lot more imposing - just check out those deep bonnet creases and the super wide grille.
Thanks to Aston’s technical partnership with Mercedes-AMG, the DB11 will receive a host of electronic gubbins from Stuttgart, as well as an AMG-derived V8 at some point in the car’s life. However, it’ll most likely be launched with only one engine option: Aston Martin’s all-new 5.2-litre, twin-turbo V12, with a power output in the region of 600bhp.
So, now we’ve seen the front and the rear, what do you think of Aston Martin’s new grand tourer?

Kind of, yeah
Damn man, I actually thought exactly the same when I saw it…!
It’s…..it’s…..beautiful.
The only situation where potato camera is useful
Plot twist: It was taken using a spy camera hidden in a suit button. #00ception
I like what we have to see so far
This guy was most likely at a manufacturers private event where you get all electronics stripped from you to prevent these images. It was the same at volvo for their future hidden models. We should be praising him for having the balls not slating him. Well done, sir.
no i think they were using a blackberry.. i have one.. does the same quality pics..
Yeah it a potato pic but it did it’s job we got a pic of the front of the car ahead of it’s official release so I’d say in this case potato is okay
Why are the pictures of things which aren’t supposed to be seen yet always taken with the same camera?
