Only A Shovel Could End This Frantic Motorway Police Chase

These South Korean police officers managed to bring the fleeing Chrysler 300C safely to a stop around the 1 min 6sec mark in the video above, but gaining access to arrest the driver looked to be a struggle. Curiously, the officers decided to break in through the windscreen rather than the driver’s window, and after several truncheon blows proved ineffective, they switched to a shovel…

The video then cuts to what we assume is the driver being led away by officers, so it’s not clear if they did actually break through the windscreen, or if the driver gave himself up in fear of spade-related injury.
