Have you ever looked at an Ora Funky Cat and thought “This would be better if it looked like a Porsche 911 GT3 RS”? No, us neither, but apparently at least one person walking this vast planet has, leading us to this rather bonkers creation.

Thai tuning firm Lumga Design is responsible for this crazy conversion of the Funky Cat, made better when you find out it's called the Good Cat in its home market. Even more of a shame then that it’ll soon be the Ora 03 in Europe.

This is no shoddy effort. That front bumper looks like it could well have been taken from a real 991 911 GT3 RS and shrink-wrapped to fit the Funky Car, meanwhile, its exaggerated (and functionally pointless) wheel arch vents are a hilarious touch.

Extended side skirts have been fitted, while the rear of the car gets a double-deck spoiler and a new diffuser - albeit one not doing much diffusing.

Sadly, Lumga hasn’t found a way to transplant a 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six or any clever chassis changes into the Funky Cat. Rather, it’ll retain the standard front-mounted single electric motor - good for either 143bhp or 170bhp depending on which version of those available in Thailand you pick. In the UK at least, we’re only offered the more powerful car.

The Funky Cat isn’t Lumga’s first attempt at a radical body kit for a Chinese EV, and presumably won’t be its last. It also offers kits for the BYD Seal, Atto 3 and the MG4 - the latter looking along the lines of how the XPower should come from the factory.

Beyond EVs, conversions for the Toyota Corolla Cross, Nissan Almera and Kicks - an equivalent to the Juke for Asian markets - are all available. Renders of a Porsche Cayman among its vast Facebook gallery suggest it’s looking to go full circle.
