Take A Look Behind The Scenes Of Fast 8 Filming In Cuba
With relations between the USA and Cuba easing, the latest Fast and Furious film has become the first Hollywood feature to be shot in the Caribbean country in decades. Here's a behind-the-scenes look
Thanks to the far reaching commercial and financial embargo put on Cuba by the United States in the early 1960s, it’s been impossible to shoot a Hollywood film in the fascinating Caribbean nation for decades. However, with restrictions easing in recent years, the Fast 8 crew have been able to film part of the latest F&F feature in the Cuban capital of Havana. Earlier this year, filming took place in Iceland, although not without incident.
Fast 8 will be released on 14 April 2017, followed up by two further instalments to create a 10 film ‘saga’.

You did not miss anything.
Oh no Che didn’t… Someone’s going to be Castro-rated over this…
This should have more upvotes😂😂
I swear to god the F&F franchise has just become a series of travel documentaries
It’s better to change location and not just stay in crappy usa all the time..
I’m just waiting to hear that the production crew have stated shooting scenes on Mars. The once entertaining franchise has gone one too far I think…
Fast and Furious was supposed to be about cars and racing not travelling and shooting or fighting.
I think thats what the first few primarily focused on… But from the beginning it was more like following the lives of Toretto, Paul and their family.
They live their lives Fast and Furious.
“14 April this year” considering it’s may already I don’t think this is correct…
It should say 14th of April 2017
Good spot!
I think the best one was Tokyo drift tbh
Hoping it’ll be racing again
Not into all that hot-rod stuff :(
