Today's community question: What's the douchiest car option available from the factory?

In the last few years car manufacturers have come up with all sorts of ridiculous options, hoping to make their cars stand out from the crowd. This trend spans every class of car, from bottom of the rung econoboxes up to luxury barges.

In the last few years car manufacturers have come up with all sorts of ridiculous options, hoping to make their cars stand out from the crowd. This trend spans every class of car, from bottom of the rung econoboxes up to luxury barges. Personally, my least favourite option available on a production car is something that I’ll probably never be able to afford, the Rolls Royce’s Starlight Headliner. Yes it’s handcrafted, and yes each constellation is completely unique, but that doesn’t stop it from looking horribly tacky.

Granted this is an extreme example, but we want to know: What car manufacturer offers the douchiest option from the factory?

Let us know your suggestions!

These look cool for about .2 seconds and then you realize exactly how douchy it is. Frankly though without the logo it’s a solid idea to illuminate the ground by the door but really if it were a light mounted under the rocker panel that only lit when you unlocked it would make much more sense to me

Can you turn those things off? The first time I saw one I though it was a stupid modification, I laughed so hard, and then realized that they were not a cheap mod…

Burnout mode in the Mustang? Not sure it’s really an option but I mean seriously.. there’s nothing impressive about it, and even less when you need help to do it.

It’s to warm up the tires for drag races, it’s just a factory liner lock, which is a mod that every drag car has so that they can do burnouts without destroying the rear brakes.

A start button instead of a good old key you have to turn.
