Today's Community Question: Which modifications do you want to see die in 2016?

The automotive community is a supportive network of car guys/girls where acceptance for each other’s rides is key. But there are some modifications which are so overdone and so heinous that we finally have to say ‘enough!’

Personally, I can’t wait to see the end of the RWB Porsche craze. For some, Nakai-san’s flared and riveted body kits are sacrilegious, for others, they’re hand crafted pieces of art. But one thing’s for sure, there’s now too damn many of them! SEMA has effectively turned into the RWB owner’s club, and it has to stop.

I think we should start a new campaign called #savetheaircooled993s. Granted, it’s not particularly catchy, but surely it’s a worthy cause.

So CTzens, we want to know, which modifications grind your gears? Let us know!

I’m okay with RWBs wide arches provided that those wide rear tires provide gobs of traction which old school 911s need. I have seen RWB Porsches that are serious track machines, but the rest? Nah, burn them.

Honestly, some LS swaps make sense. It’s cheap power. Now, would I swap one into an FC? Hells to the no. But a Chevrolet S10? For sure.

Stance in general. I hate stance. Also, no more wide body-kits.

LS Swaps. I know you want power and torque, but come on, there must be other V8s out there.

Or you can build an engine that was OEM?

The reason people go for LS is because it’s compact and lightweight compared to other V8s

Theyre compact, light weight about 550 pound in iron block forn fully assembled. And cheap.. you can pick them up pan to intake no accesories for as little as 300USD from junkyards. Cheaper on days with sales.

Liberty walk body kits and enything similar. Abnormally loud exhausts and crazy wraps, specially chrome.

a lot of people are hating on the rocket bunny kits but I for one think they’re cool and tbh everyone says they’re so common but how many have you actually seen on the street
