Watch A Douchebag BMW M3 Driver Slam Into A Turning Taxi

While the taxi in this video was performing what looked to be an illegal u-turn, this accident - which occurred in Taiwan - would have surely been avoided if the E92 M3 driver wasn't driving like such an idiot

We all love fast cars, but anyone with a modicum of common sense knows that there’s a time and a place. A busy city certainly isn’t the right place to be driving as quickly as this guy is, especially if - as the title of this video alleges - you’re attempting to impress your passenger. The taxi driver’s u-turn wasn’t ideal, but with the M3 driving a little more sensibly, this hefty accident probably would have been avoided.

Definitely a poor way to drive! Both parties are in the wrong but definitely would have been prevented at speed limits.

Its the fault of the taxi driver (also the driver with m3 at 100km/h) . The taxi its not allowed to turn there - double line

earlier he drove 150km/h if I can believe that dashcam. That is just no way to drive in a city, not even for a pro.

I don’t know the legislation there but in my country the driver who commited the more serious infraction is guilty, and I think excessive spee would be the case over a prohibited turn. There’s always legally someone who has the fault, but most of accidents happen because of both drivers, there’s always something one could do to prevent this headache. Hope both of them are okay

As long is that guy was really driving pretty reckless it was the Cab´s driver fault.

I’d call the cab driver the culprit but I’d put the blame on the guy driving the M3. If he’d done the speed limit and kept his eyes on the road there wouldn’t have been an accident.

Actually, its simply the taxi’s fault no? He didnt check and risked an illegal uturn?
Are we expecting the rest of the world to stop for an illegal move?

Or driving away from the taxi (gap opens on the right), not into its trajectory. It is really impressive and sad how often people aren’t capable of making better decision due to target fixation.

Speed at impact according to the stats at bottom of screen was 103km/h (or for us brits 64mph) in a city centre..
