Choose My Next Car - The Completely Aftermarket/Mod-heavy Build

Everyone knows that I’m selling my Subaru by now, right? I’ve decided to get something at least 500 pounds lighter.

A few things of note: I’m mostly interested in FF cars. I like stylish cars. I want something with a good aftermarket. Reliability is preferred but not mandatory. German cars are too expensive to maintain in my region. This is a track-build, so I don’t care about interior fixings etc. I’m yanking everything that’s unnecessary anyways.

2008 Honda Civic Si with Civic Type R bodywork and lots of performance goodies

Toyota Celica GT-S (7th generation)

Sixth Gen Celica

Nissan Primera

Acura RSX Type S

Toyota MR-S

Well, there are the choices I have in mind. Go on, choose your favourite in the comments, and tell me why.

RSX is my pick of these. I like FWD, light cars.

Did you read what I was looking for?

Lightweight, FWD, reliable track car… Not a Mustang. Mustang doesn’t fit any of those descriptors…

🎺🎺thank mr skeltal

If you are on a seriously tight budget (or wanting to spend most money on the mods) you could also consider a Civic hatch, these things are dirt cheap. Could be hard to find a decent one though (low mileage, no rust, no rice, etc.)

Everyone has them… It’s not even remotely unique. I don’t want to have to install a remote starter just to know which one is mine…

I’d go for that Nissan personally. I do like the Celica though

What about Integra’s? GS-R’s are pretty fast when modified..

Rare, ish, in good condition, and surprisingly high cost of ownership. Plus, they just don’t tick the style & uniqueness box. Like I say, my buddy has a 2012 Accent track car. I like his inspiration of taking an unusual car and transforming it into a beast
