How many BHP does it take for you to consider a car "powerful"?

600+ horsepower is “powerful”. You can get plenty of cars these days in the 500hp range, and they aren’t that fast. If someone thinks a 500hp car available for purchase currently on the market is “fast” then they haven’t been in an actual fast car. For me, fast is 600+. When you ride in a car with 1000 hp, you can’t go back. The addiction becomes real. My 380 HP volvo is so slow it’s boring, and I keep up with corvettes - which are also slow - unless it’s a Z06 or ZR1… or modified.

To me it depends on the car. The GT500, which makes 660bhp is a powerful Mustang. A turboed Civic making 300+ is a powerful Civic. So on and so forth.

Depends on many other factors, such as the delivery of power, weight of the car, usable power (torque) ect.

This right here it’s not how much but how much per tone. if you try a older v6 mustang you’ll find that 200hp is not that quick. But for me 150-175 bhp per tone is the point where i look when i buy a car. then of course modding begins :p
