I actually just took a motorcycle riding safety course where they teach you too blip the brake light (not actually decelerate) when someone is too close behind you in order to generate some space. That appears to be what this guy did because if he’d actually slowed down he would have been hit.

Maybe if he saw another person coming up behind him who was going faster than him, he should have moved out of the way. Then he probably wouldn’t have got tailgated. The guy who break checked was an idiot who caused unnecessary accidents…
He was passing a truck, and there was a car coming down the sliproad to merge on his right. The guy behind should not have been up his ass, because if something happened and the guy in front actually needed to hit the brakes, the turd in the 4x4 behind him would have gone right into his rear end.
There’s no excuse for tailgating. If they’re in a rush because they’re late getting somewhere, then perhaps they should invest in a watch and leave a little earlier next time.

actually it was 2 SUVs so this is not surprising because most SUV drivers are a-holes
Only time I’d ever condone tailgating is when someone is going 15mph in a 35mph zone and you have no passing lanes… Happened to me once, some idiot in a Volvo S40 kept brake checking me even though I left a good 7 feet of distance…
