German tuner G-Power is famous for building insane BMWs. German Car Show ‘Grip’ has tested them various times, with host Matthias Malmedie doing the longest skids of his life. Now, G-Power have created something new. It’s an F82 M4, and the new specs are incredible: In stock form the M4 has 431hp and 550Nm /406 ft-lb of torque. The G-Power M4 makes 680hp and 740Nm / 546 ft-lb of torque. For comparison: A Ferrari 488 GTB has 670hp and 760Nm / 560 ft-lb.

Getting a ticket for speeding is annoying, especially when you were only a bit too fast. This list counts down the eight most extreme cases of speeding throughout Europe, and also shows the consequences depending on the different countries. NOTE: Speeding is a big safety issue, not only for you, but also for other road users. DON’T SPEED. And remember, it’s a speed LIMIT, not a speed TARGET - so better drive slowly and relaxed than too fast. That way you also get to enjoy your sweet ride for a longer period of time - and you’re less likely to crash it.

Not every concept car is presented under the flashing lights of an Auto Show. Some of them go directly into the depot - just like this one, the mid 1990s Volkswagen CC1. In 1996 Audi took over its development and created the A2 - a mass production economic car which was way ahead of it’s time. With the CC1, Volkswagen tested lightweight design using Aluminum and Carbon Fiber, downsized engines, aerodynamic shapes and the Double-Clutch Transmission.

GM is a worldwide operating company. They are quite famous for selling cars under different names depending on where you live. And I’m not only talking about the Opel-Vauxhall-Thing, as you’re about to see…

Finally done! Here’s the comparison pic. 42 x 29.7 cm Prismacolor Pencils I had to scan it, but sadly it was too big - that’s why there is this white line in between. Sorry! Here’s my potatoe photography as well: The interior didn’t turn out quite as I expected, but being my first drawing with Prismacolor pencils I’m pretty happy. I’m going to frame it and hang it up! In September 2015, Mitsubishi announced that the world-famous Lancer Evolution would be discontinued. Petrolheads all over the world were shocked: In 24 years the classic JDM machine had built up a big fan base.

On March 12th, I created a post about funny German words for car parts. It went absolutely viral, currently sitting at about 200 likes. Now, 3 months later, it suddenly went viral again! And so I’m finally going to create a Part 2! 10 more words invented by a guy with a broken spacebar… Good luck pronouncing these! And in case you missed it: Check out Part 1 !

It is every petrolhead’s life goal to drive on the famous unrestricted German Autobahn. But we Germans have to use these roads every day. And so, over the years, we found many things we hate about it.

We all know the Top Gear sequence where Richard Hammond tries to pronounce ‘Doppelkupplungsgetriebe’ (if you somehow missed it, watch it down below!). Today I’ll show you 10 more funny German words for car parts, and you can try to pronounce them! 1. Pop-up Headlights 'Klappscheinwerfer' 2. Windscreen 'Windschutzscheibe' 3. Tow Hitch 'Anhängerkupplung' 4. Dashboard 'Armaturenbrett'

NOTE: The layout is copied from an old post by Gabz - I just couldn’t come up with a better one… NOTE 2: I had to change the font to make the longer texts of part 3 fit. I could have changed the other fonts as well, but after over 4 hours of working on this I was just too tired. I think I'd stand some good chances in my race: Which race would you participate in? And do you think you could win it? Comment below!

The original purpose of front grilles was to create an airflow under the hood to cool down the engine. But over the time, they have become a more and more important design feature. Every car brand has their own shape and size. Why? Our brain imagines the front of a car as a face, with the headlights being the eyes and the grille serving as a mouth, and so designers worked with this idea to give cars a certain appearance. The latest trend are huge grills wich cover up almost the entire front end, and so today I’ll show you 10 cars where the trend just went way too far.

Everybody knows them: 18-years-olds which just got there license. Many people think they’re dangerous, but everyone once started like this. Today I will show you 10 types of novice drivers. 1. The Poor Guy When you are 18 years old, there are lots of things you have to pay for. Cigarettes, PC parts, funky clothes. So often, there’s not much money left for the car. Or for maintenance. Or for fuel. But who cares, it get’s you from A to B. Most of the times.

There are some cars which have the image of only being driven by old people. Today I will show you 10 of them. NOTE 1: This list is based on my own impressions. NOTE 2: This list is not meant to criticize old people. NOTE 3: This list only counts for Germany. 10. Volkswagen Jetta The Golf with a backpack was the most stereotypical old people’s car some years ago, but nowadays not many of them are left. If you do see one tho, it is most likely green or beige, and it has a nodding dog, a hat and an umbrella behind the rear seats.

Inspiration is key when drawing cars. No matter if you’re professional or just started out: When you see some amazing works by other people it will not only give you ideas what to draw next, but also motivate you to bring out the pens again. I already did a similar post which you can check out down below. So, let’s get started! Enjoy!

Final part of the series! Enjoy! Bond Bug The Bond Bug is a small British two-seat, three-wheeled automobile which was built from 1970 to 1974. It is a wedge-shaped microcar, with a lift-up canopy and side screens instead of conventional doors. Toyota Sera The Sera was built between 1990 and 1996 and is most notable for its butterfly doors which tilt up and forward when opened, and the canopy constructed largely of glass panels.

You think that this 3 series is boring? Well at least the doors are, compared to these unconventional ones I found on the internet. I managed to find quite much, so I’m gonna split this series into three parts - otherwise the posts would just get too long. The cars appear randomly without any order to keep it interesting.

You thought your Cadillac Escalade or your Ford F-150 is big? No, it isn’t. Even a Mercedes G 6x6 or a Lincoln Town Car are NOTHING compared to these seven crazy things. I have to admit, it’s quite unlikely you’re gonna see one on the streets - but they do exist. 7. Hitachi EX 3600-6 It has a weight of 360 tonnes, and it’s powered by a 60-litre engine with 1944 hp. This gas guzzling monster has a 7450 litre fuel tank (1968 gallons). 6. O&K RH200 This hydraulic excavator by German company Orenstein & Koppel has 2520 hp…

Car Throttle always reminded me of Top Gear (the good one, with Clarkson, Hammond and May). When it came out that Jeremy Clarkson got sacked by the BBC I saw a comment under a video saying ‘Alex Kersten should host it from now’. I am very happy that Car Throttle is almost as famous as Top Gear, and that it has some similarities. But there was always some thing I hated about Top Gear: The wanted destruction of (classic) cars.

There are hundreds of good racing games on the market - but which one’s are the best? I hardly doubt that somebody played all of them, but still I want to hear your opinions! Here are my Top 5 racing games: #5: Midnight Club Los Angeles (by Rockstar Games) The successor of Midnight Club 3 which I absolutely loved. Gameplay is simple: Rice and Race. It still has the spirit of Midnight Club 3 (although the in-game music is much worse) with better graphics and more options (like ricing car’s interiors etc). My first car was a Nissan 240SX

True petrolheads give their cars nicknames. And as I don’t have a car yet, I thought of some names for my CSR2 cars. The only important thing was: 7 or less letters - otherwise it wouldn’t fit on the numberplate. 1. Ford Fiesta ST aka 'FIESTAR' Specs: 349 +520 (almost maxed) 2. Volkswagen Scirocco R aka 'ROCSTAR' Specs: 453 +187 3. Dodge Viper GTS aka 'VIP' Specs: 566 +122 4. BMW M4 Coupé aka 'M4THEWIN' (doesn't fit on the numberplate tho) Specs: 546 +239

#1: Practice makes perfect! Look at this drawing I made around 8 years ago. I made it for my grand-dad’s birthday, and I was super proud of it when I finally finished it after some hours. And if you check out the post I created just seconds before this one, you can see how far I’ve come since then! It’s just years of practice!

While small hatchbacks are very popular in Europe, Asians for example prefer small sedans. So many car brands offer both - and if you only know one of them you will probably be shocked how much it ruins the design if you weld on a trunk (or hack it away). So, enjoy, and please tell me which ones I forgot and how these look in your country!

Alright. Midnight Club 3. When I was younger, the “DUB Edition Remix” was on sale in my local tech shop. Before I bought it I only played Gran Turismo 3 and 4 on our lovely black Play Station 2, and I was absolutely blown away by the new open-world experience. My parents weren’t, my Mum hated the music and my Dad preferred race tracks. Also, I admit that after only three hours of playing it, I riced my cars to the max. But in this game this was the coolest thing ever! But then we got a PS3 with Gran Turismo 6… And we only used the PS2 as a DVD Player.
